Wood Butter Conditioner

Wife got me some for Christmas and just tried to use it. The hardness similar to wax candle certainly not buttery. I rubbed with a piece of cloth and nothing came up. Butter doesn’t crack but this certainly will. Should come with a wick so at least I could use it as a candle. Something this hard can’t treat wood it will never get absorbed.
